A. All contractors/builders are eligible for free membership, and all benefits that
come with it, thanks to the generous support of our
sponsors. There are no hidden charges, service fees, or dues whatsoever.
Q. How can you offer so many free benefits?
A. Currently, we have several generous sponsors that
are paying for your benefits. These manufacturers, retailers, and service providers
appreciate your support.
Q. When I become a member, do I have to purchase your sponsors' products?
Once you become a member, you are not obligated to purchase products or services
from our sponsors. However, we do ask you to consider our sponsors whenever
possible, so they can continue to support your business.
Q. How can I become a member?
A. To become a member, please visit www.MaxEquityLLC.com
and click on the Join Now button. Once you provide your e-mail address, you
will receive a username and password to use to login to www.MaxEquityMember.com
website, where you can take advantage of all offered programs and specials.
The same username will also allow you to login to our other members-only websites,
such as ContractorsInternetDirectory.com,
ContractorFreeWebsite.com, etc.
Q. What is a domain name?
A. A domain name is often referred to as a "website address", and is something that
you have to renew annually. It is your property, so we will charge you $25
per year if you would like us to register one for you. Alternatively, you
can purchase a domain name yourself from an ICANN accredited registrar, such as
Network Solutions or Register.com.
Q. What happens if I cancel my free membership in Max Equity Contractors Buying/Marketing
Group?
You can cancel your free membership at any time.
Upon cancelling your membership, you will no longer be eligible for the free membership
benefits, such as: specials and promotions from our sponsors, free website hosting
with site builder, premium listing on www.ContractorsInternetDirectory.com, etc.
Since your domain name is your property, you are free to transfer it at any time
to the domain name registrar of your choice. Examples of domain name registrars
include Network Solutions, Regisrar.com, and many more.
Q. What is included in my free hosting account?
Your free hosting account includes the following features.
- 1,000 MB of disk space
- 1,000 MB of bandwidth per month
- Up to five (5) e-mail accounts for you and your staff (for example, joe.smith@abcconstructioncompany.com).
- Unlimited Autoresponders
- FTP access for updating your website
- FrontPage Server Extensions for updating your website
- Online support through our ticket system.
- SPAM filtering.
- Detailed statistics and log files, so you can view the number of visits to your
website.
- Nighly backups of your website & e-mail accounts.
Unlike many hosting companies, we don't "oversell" our resources, ensuring that
your site is always running & loads quickly for visitors.
Q. Do you provide any support or customer service?
We provide technical support 7 days a week, through our online ticket system. You can
access the ticket system by logging in to your Control Panel using the username and
password you received when registering for this service.
